MAGIC STAFFING CO.

About · The Founder

The name is real.
So is the standard.

Magic Staffing was built by a closer who got tired of watching great companies lose to bad hires. We find, vet, and deliver the 1099 door-to-door talent that Texas home-service companies actually need.

Meet the founder
Troy “Magic” Osborne
Founder & lead recruiter

Yes — Magic is his actual middle name. And no, the standard it sets isn't an accident.

Troy has spent his career on the door and behind the closers who work it. He knows exactly what a great rep looks like — because he's been one — so he recruits the way an operator would, not the way a job board does. That instinct is the whole company.

Magic Staffing exists to put that instinct to work for you: the right setter, the right closer, the right canvasser — screened, ready, and matched to your trade and your turf. You interview and choose. Troy just makes sure the names in front of you are worth your time.

Why we exist

The rep at the door is the whole game

Every home-service company knows the math: the product doesn't sell itself — the rep at the door sells it. And finding reps who can actually hold that conversation is the hardest, most time-consuming job in the industry. Owners burn weeks on job boards, no-shows, and washouts while turf sits empty.

That's the job we took off your plate. We recruit inside the door-to-door world — not the general labor pool — and screen every candidate before a name ever reaches you. You stay focused on running crews and closing deals; we keep the pipeline full.

How we operate

Specialists, straight dealing, Texas-first

Specialists, not generalists

Five trades — pest, alarm, solar, roofing, water — and the roles inside them. We speak setter, closer, and self-gen, because that's all we do.

Straight dealing

No padded resumes, no warm-body submissions, no surprise fees. If we wouldn't trust a candidate on a door, you won't meet them.

Texas first

We recruit for Texas markets and know the seasons, the storms, and the selling calendar that drive them.
